끊임없는 노력으로 글로벌아트오페라단이 창단된 지 10년 만에 많은 오페라 공연과 열정적인 활동, 기획하고 그가 가지고 있는 음악의 열정에 혼을 담아 펼침으로써 많은 음악인에게 본보기가 되고 있는 테너 김영석은 현재 충남대학교 예술대학 음악과 교수로 재직하면서 수많은 제자에게 그의 열정을 펼쳐 나가고 있으며 오페라단 단장으로서 지역의 오페라와 클래식 문화에 이바지하고 있으며, 대전예술의전당 “우리 시대의 음악인 시리즈” 초청 이후, 7년 만의 독창회를 개최하고자 한다.
