1999년부터 멜버른 씨어터 컴퍼니의 예술감독으로 있는 사이먼 필립스는 B 벨보어 컴퍼니와 함께 혁력하여 제작한 작품은 <Scarlett O’Hara at the Crimson Parrot>, <Rock ‘n’ Roll>, <The Madwoman of Chaillot>, <The Glass Soldier>, <The Pillowman>, <Entertaining Mr Sloane>, <Tomfoolery>, <Festen>, <The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee>, <King Lear>, <Two Brothers>, <Cyrano de Bergerac>, <Urinetown>, <Les Liaisons Dangereuses>, <The Visit>, <Inheritance>, <The Blue Room>, <Great Expectations>, <Proof>, <Life x 3>, <Bombshells>, <The Seagull>, <The Tempest>, <Man the Balloon, <The Unexpected Man>이다. 

사이먼은 1987년부터 1989년 MTC에서 조연출로 <Serious Money>, <Burn This>, <Tristram Shandy - Gent>, <What The Butler Saw>, <Mrs Klein>, <Dreams in an Empty City>, <Macbeth>, <The Importance of Being Earnest>에 참여하였다. 이후 <The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui>, <The Misanthrope>, <Amy’s View>, <The Herbal Bed>, <The Comedy of Errors>, <Julius Caesar>, <Arcadia>, <Hysteria>와 뮤지컬 <High Society>의 연출을 맡았다. 최근 작품으로 <Priscilla Queen of the Desert>와 오페라 <A Midsummer Night’s Dream>, <Billy Budd>를 연출하였다.
