배우. 뉴저지주, 웨스트우드 출생.
HBO TV 시리즈 <The Sopranos>에서 토니 소프라노 역을 맡아 잘 알려진 배우이다. <8mm>, 스릴러물 <True Romance>에 출연하였고, 게이 히트맨으로 출연한 <The Mexican>, <Get Shorty>, <The Last Castle> 등에 출연하였다. 2007년 디즈니 채널에서 제작한 <Yemar>에 출연하였다.
1992년 브로드웨이 프로덕션 작품 <On the Waterfront>에 6개월 공연하였으며, 영화 <True Romance>에 출연하였다. 1994년 영화 <Terminal Velocity>, <The Juror>, <Get Shorty>, <the Taking of Pelham 1 2 3>에 출연하였다.
그를 잘 알리게 해 준 작품은 TV 연속극인 <The Soprano> 이다. 또한 2007년부터 찍는 HBO 연속극인 <Alive Day: Home from Iraq>에도 출연하였다. 2009년 브로드웨이 연극 <God og Caenage>에 출연하였다.
